We are delighted to announce the upcoming Eighteenth Symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP 2023) and Joint International Criminal Police Organization Biometrics Forum! The event will occur from 12 – 14 September 2023 at ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Canada. This year’s theme is “Enhancing Traveller Mobility through Technology and Innovation.”
The TRIP Symposium is a highly anticipated event that allows experts and practitioners to exchange information on all aspects of traveller identification management. The Symposium will focus on promoting the global regulatory framework established by the provisions of Annex 9 – Facilitation to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and linking it to the new technology tools available on the market.
In conjunction with the ICAO/INTERPOL Joint Biometrics Forum, the Symposium will provide insight into best practices, specifications, and technical mechanisms to apply and use biometrics successfully.
The Symposium programme will feature various topics, including border control and law enforcement, travel document security applications, health proofs emission and authentication, automated border control systems, and identity management. Additionally, the exhibition will display a wide range of products and services related to these topics.
We look forward to meeting you in Montréal for the Eighteenth Symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme and Joint International Criminal Police Organization Biometrics Forum!
